Como instalar y/o Actualizar Firefox 3.5 en Linux

1.- Abre una terminal y teclea

• sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

2.- Se abrirá tu lista de repositorios, añade al final de todo lo siguiente:

• #firefox
• deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main
• deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main

Nota: si usas hardy o intrepid agrega los siguientes repositorios:

Si usas Intrepid

• deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
• deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main

Si usas Hardy

• deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu hardy main
• deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa/ubuntu hardy main

3.- Guarda y cierra el editor

4.- En la terminal agregamos la llave del repositorio

• sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 247510BE

5.- Para finalizar instalamos Firefox 3.5

• sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install firefox-3.5

Nota: si ya tenias alguna versión anterior teclea

• sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

Por ultimo para lanzar la aplicación tecleamos en la terminal

• firefox-3.5
